Coach Observations
What you notice through the context of the established coaching relationship.

For Coaches & Helping Professionals
Bring Your Client. See More Together. Carry the Insight Forward.
The Coach Partner Pathway™ gives coaches and helping professionals a structured way to bring a client into an equine-guided Leadership Trail Map™ experience, participate alongside them, and carry the learning into future coaching work.
During the experience, client reactions, coach observations, facilitator insights, leadership patterns, and equine responses are captured from multiple perspectives. Jennifer then synthesizes what emerged into a customized post-session Leadership Trail Map™ summary for the visiting coach.
The result is a rich body of insight, language, and development themes the coach can continue using over time.
Why This Works
Equine-guided work can surface meaningful information quickly. Horses respond in real time to presence, clarity, boundaries, pressure, connection, and intent, giving coach and client another way to notice what is shaping the client’s leadership.
The visiting coach brings the context of the existing coaching relationship. Jennifer facilitates the equine-guided experience and observes through the lens of leadership, coaching, and equine behavior.
Together, those perspectives create a richer picture of what is unfolding.
What you notice through the context of the established coaching relationship.
Patterns, client responses, interactions, and themes Jennifer observes during the session.
Reflections, responses, questions, and discoveries that emerge in the experience.
Relevant horse behavior, movement, proximity, touch, attention, and changes in response.
You remain the client’s coach and guide the ongoing integration after the farm experience.
The Pathway
01
Explore fit and identify an appropriate client.
02
Clarify coaching context, goals, and areas of exploration.
03
Coach and client participate together in a private, unmounted equine-guided session.
04
Jennifer, the coach, the client, and the horses each contribute information to what becomes visible.
05
Jennifer and the coach reflect on what emerged, and Jennifer organizes the key observations and themes.
06
The coach receives the customized post-session Trail Map and uses it to support continued coaching work.
The Client Experience
The experience is shaped around the client’s development goals and what emerges through interaction with the horses.
This is unmounted work. There will be no riding. Experience with horses is not necessary.
The horse is an active participant whose responses create additional information for coach, client, and facilitator to observe together.
Jennifer’s facilitation draws on equine-assisted work that began with EAGALA certification in 2005, additional equine facilitation training, more than 25 years of senior leadership and HR experience, and more than 20 years of professional coaching.
Relevant horse behavior and responses are considered alongside the client’s behavior, reactions, and the broader context of the session.
After the Farm
Jennifer synthesizes these perspectives into a customized post-session Leadership Trail Map™ summary for the visiting coach.
The summary gives the coach a clear, structured resource for continued integration over time.
A single equine-guided experience can surface more information than one person can meaningfully process at once.
Some observations may be immediately useful. Others may need time, context, or additional coaching before they are explored.
The visiting coach already understands the client’s history, goals, language, and current development work. That context helps the coach determine what to revisit, when to introduce it, and how to support continued integration.
The summary preserves what was witnessed without asking the client to absorb everything at once.
The Leadership Trail Map™ provides the framework Jennifer uses to organize the patterns, observations, and themes that emerge during the experience.
Explore The Leadership Trail Map™The pathway grew from a practical question: how do we preserve the meaningful information that surfaces during an equine-guided session without asking the client to process everything at once?
